My name is Ma. Luisa D. Velarde, and I am 24 years old from Tabon, Dalaguete, Cebu. I graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Education, major in Mathematics at Cebu Technological University and was honored with the distinction of Cum Laude. I have been working as an English as a Second Language (ESL) teacher at GLATS Company for almost three years. This is my first professional job, which I started even before graduating from college. Balancing my studies and teaching responsibilities helped me develop strong time management, discipline, and multitasking skills.

My lessons focus on creating a comfortable and engaging learning environment where students can practice English with confidence. I believe that students learn best when they are encouraged to participate, make mistakes, and express themselves freely. My teaching style is student-centered, patient, and adaptable. I adjust my lessons based on each student’s level, goals, and learning needs. I focus on improving students’ speaking, pronunciation, vocabulary, and communication skills through meaningful conversations and practical activities. I also provide positive and constructive feedback to help students recognize their progress and areas for improvement. My goal is to make every lesson enjoyable, supportive, and effective while helping students become more confident English speakers.
